Northern Arizona University Campus
The campus's north-end is 1/4 mile south. Campus bus service (free) runs weekdays every ten minutes and will drop you anywhere along the west and east sides of the mile-long campus.
Flagstaff City Hall
Located less than a 1/4 mile walk.
Flagstaff Library & Wheeler Park
The award-winning architecture of the Flagstaff Public Library is 1/4 of a mile away down the tree lined residential streets of old-town Flagstaff. Open from 8:AM to 9:00PM, with quiet seating, private movie viewing rooms and wireless service for all. Famous for it's huge trees and expansive commons is also Wheeler Park, which is directly connected to the library building.
Snowbowl Ski Resort
The "Snowbowl" is Flagstaff's only ski resort and is located about 12 miles north along route 180 from the Lofts. Bus service runs there only in the winter. During the summer season visitors can hike the trails and ride the lift within a brisk-hike to the top of Mount Humphrey's or San Francisco Peak (12,700 ft altitude... bring a warm jacket!).

There's a huge number of restaurants in downtown Flagstaff, all within a 10 minute walk from FlagstaffLOFTS.
Sedona, Arizona
This world famous destination is about 30 miles due south and is only accessible by car (though many tour companies in Flagstaff provide bus tours with dining, etc.). Sedona is a small town nestled into pink and green cliffs that add a dramatically beautiful experience to your stay. Dining, world-class shopping, river-side picnics and terrific hikes and bike tours can be had 7-days a week in this internationally renowned small town.
Lowell Observatory
The world-famous observatory is 1/4 mile walk. Tours run during the summer months and fascinating lectures in their auditorium/planetarium run throughout the year, generally on weekends.
Thorpe Park
This is a large activities park, 1/4 mile walking distance, that caters to children. It has swing sets, jungle-gyms, slides and merry-go-rounds within a fenced area with convenient tables and benches under the trees for picnics and parental observation. There's also a Senior Activities Centers associated with the park with activities and free movies, etcetera for persons 62 and older (non-residents are welcome).
